Komori Corporation, an international manufacturer of printing presses, has approved Siegwerk, one of the leading providers of printing inks for packaging applications, labels, and catalogs, as a manufacturer of “K-Supply ink” and the companies have signed an agreement. By this agreement, “K-Supply ink” is produced by Siegwerk for Komori’s H-UV system, the company’s UV curing system, and Komori will officially supply for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). From now on, the companies cooperatively develop the products and supply “K-Supply ink” optimized for Komori’s H-UV system to the market.

Komori offers its customers under the brand name “K-Supply” a lineup of special consumables and materials that are officially approved for the Komori printing presses. Komori wants to ensure its customers high quality and best performance, and did certify Siegwerk as European partner to provide its innovative high sensitive UV inks. All inks certified as “K-Supply ink” are defined by high-level hardness, print quality, versatility and economic performance. The high sensitive UV inks produced by Siegwerk will be sold under the brand name “K-Supply” by Komori and Siegwerk.

Komori Corporation announced to launch an energy saving UV printing process to the market ahead of other companies. With its H-UV system, the company offers customers an innovative UV curing system that uses one H-UV lamp and runs with high-sensitivity H-UV inks from selected suppliers. In comparison to conventional UV curing, the amount of CO2 emissions from Komori’s H-UV system is only around one quarter. This exclusive Komori instant drying system doesn’t produce ozone, ensures very low heat generation and offers superior print quality, reliability as well as an excellent economic and eco-friendly performance.
